All Points Carpet Cleaning and Restoration quotes each job according to its complexity. Routine upholstery cleaning is charged at our standard prices, marked well below the going rate. While complex weaves and piles will be priced according to time needed and quality assurance.
How do we do it? … Our 10 steep Upholstery cleaning procedure.
Step 1 Pre-inspection:
Before we start on your furniture we test a small area of your upholstery on an inconspicuous area to be absolutely sure that you’ll be happy with the results and that no unexpected fabric damage or color loss will occur.
Step 2 prepare the area:
We always prepare the area where the furniture will be cleaned. We protect you floor with water resistant blankets to protect your tile or hard wood floors from water spillages.
Step 3 Pre-vacuum
This is a very important step will remove dry soils and any loose particles from deep inside the fabric. Most contaminants will get heavier and more difficult to remove after the fabric gets wet.
Step 4 Pre-treatment
Depending on the type of fabric we will determine the type of solution to be used and will gently work the foam we create into the fabric by gently brushing the furniture with our special upholstery brush this will ensure that all soils and stains are completely emulsified.
Step 5: Soil Extraction and Neutralizing
The soil is then extracted with a pre-heated PH neutral solution using a High Flow/Low Moisture upholstery cleaning tool. This new tool shears away soil without over-wetting your furniture by applying a hypervelocity fluid stream; It’s high flow jet less cleaning technology leaves the fabric cleaner and 50% drier.
Step 6: Post Spot
Any remaining spots will be re-treated with special stain removal products and re-neutralized.
Step 7: Grooming
We will groom you furniture with a special furniture brush to ensure there will not be streak marks left on your furniture.
Step 8: Final Inspection
We then ask you to please inspect your furniture with us and let us know if there are areas of concern that need to addressed prior to our departure
Step 9: Upholstery Protector Application
Since your upholstered furniture takes quite a beating from the kids, pets and other factors; let us apply our protective treatments and add years of life back to your furniture!
Step 10 Speed Drying
We install high velocity air movers while we are working in other areas of your home or picking up our equipment to speed up the drying process.
