Walter and Jennifer Jackson, Long Beach, CA

I was amazed
Martin and his wife Monica did and excellent job on my carpet, honestly it looked brand new. They were very friendly, helpful and informative. They came to clean my living room carpet at the request of my property management group and the job was so fantastic, I hired them to come back and clean the other rooms, which they were able to do the same day.
I would highly recommend them to my friends and anyone else who asked about a fantastic carpet cleaning company.

Frequntly Asked Questions

How often should I clean my Carpet?

A. No doubt this question has surfaced at one time or another during the years you've owned carpeting. The frequency of cleaning will vary from one household to another depending upon the number of occupants and level of usage. At a minimum, you should clean once a year.
I have had some homeowners express their fear that once the carpet is cleaned, it will re-soil quicker. This fear is the result of improper cleaning on the part of many cleaning companies. Many of these companies, in an effort to cut costs and save time, will buy the cheapest cleaning solutions, won't provide the proper training for their technicians, and will not offer a separate rinse step in order to remove detergent residues. If detergent is left in the carpet, accelerated re-soiling will occur.
All Points Cleaning And Restoration uses a more thorough method of cleaning that uses a rinse step after the pre-spray process. This method removes deep down soil and leaves no detergent to accelerate the re-soiling process. The fact is, the best thing you can do for your carpets is have them regularly cleaned by a qualified professional carpet cleaning company. It is the buildup of soil that promotes wear to your carpet, far more than the foot traffic that travels on the surface of the carpet. Foot traffic grinds the soil against the carpet fibers and causes a sand paper effect. This causes the fibers to dull and become worn looking.
Major carpet manufacturers such as Dupont and Shaw Industries recommend that you have your carpets cleaned every 6-18 months, and with most of today's carpet, in order to satisfy the warranty requirements, you must have them cleaned by an IICRC certified firm and save your receipts. There are other considerations that can increase the frequency of cleanings, such as smoking habits, number and ages of children, soiling conditions, humidity, health status of occupants, allergy conditions, and number and types of pets just to name a few. Heavily traveled areas may require quarterly cleaning, while other less frequented areas may not need cleaning more than every 18 months. Either way, it makes good sense to have your carpets cleaned regularly not only from an appearance and investment protection point of view, but also from a health standpoint. Regular deep cleaning removes bacteria, dust mites, germs, and the substances upon which these organisms live.

Is carpeting bad for people with allergies?

A. No. While hard surfaces allow contaminants to roam around and come back to the environment and the air you breath, A Clean carpet actually acts like a filter trapping contaminants. regular vacuuming will extract those contaminats providing a cleaner and healthier environment specially for allergy sufferers.

How long does it take to dry?

A
. It usually takes from 4 to 8 hours to dry depending upon the condition and thickness of the carpet, and ventilation.  In some rare cases it could take up to 24 hours But you can walk on it as soon as we're done.  Just be careful not to slip when going from damp carpet onto a hard slippery surface.

What kind of chemicals do you use?

A.
We use top of  the line cleaning products made out of 100% natural non-toxic and hypoallergenic solutions that have been tested and certified by The Green Seal Organization and The Cleaning and Restoration Institute. Our products are environmentally safe and OSHA and EPA compliant.

What furniture do you move?

A. We slide side to side things like sofas, tables and chairs. We don't move dressers, beds, china cabinets, electronics, pianos and items heavier than 75 pounds. All we ask is that you remove breakables and knickknacks from the furniture you want moved.

Will the price change?

A. In some cases when we are asked to move furniture that is not the common type that we would move, we charge reasonable fee that is discussed with you prior to do the job.

Do fabric protectors really work?

A. Fabric protectors won't prevent your carpet from getting dirty. Their purpose is to protect your carpet and upholstery from permanent stains and prolong the life of the fabric, which they do very well if properly applied. We apply only scotchgard and DuPont Teflon which are the leaders in the industry.

Can I walk on my carpets right after it's been cleaned?

A. Yes, but be careful not to slip as you walk from damp carpeting onto non-carpeted areas. Also, be sure to wear clean shoes on your newly cleaned carpet. We recommend white socks, house slippers or shoe covers.

How often should I vacuum?

A. You should vacuum frequently; at least once or twice per week. You can never vacuum too much. Vacuuming prevents surface dirt & sand from being ground into the carpet fibers this is a common major cause of carpet traffic area wear.

Why do you recommend Mats?

A. Almost 80% of the soil brought into your home is tracked in on the soles of your shoes. Place mats at all entrance areas to help keep your carpets clean.

How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?

A. That would depend on the number of adults, children and of course PETS, that live in your home. Major carpet manufacturers such as DuPont and Shaw Industries recommend that you have your carpets cleaned every 6-18 months. We recommend cleaning your Traffic Areas every six months. and have a thorough carpet cleaning every 12 months.
